Ethan is working with <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.cs.uky.edu\/dri\/nikhil-akula\/\">Nikhil<\/a> to develop the team&#8217;s Herculaneum Spectral Enhancement algorithm to assist in the study of ancient Herculaneum scrolls. Their program uses machine learning to help determine the best visual enhancements needed to make the ink clear and visible on the opened scrolls.
