Ethan is currently a Senior at the University of Kentucky majoring in Computer Science and Finance. Ethan is working with Nikhil to develop the team’s Herculaneum Spectral Enhancement algorithm to assist in the study of ancient Herculaneum scrolls. Their program uses machine learning to help determine the best visual enhancements needed to make the ink clear and visible on the opened scrolls. He has enjoyed collaborating with the team and having the opportunity to work with such an incredible piece of history.
