Summer is a Computer Science major and joined the EduceLab team as a sophomore. So far, Summer has worked to improve the post-processing pipeline for the collection of physically unwrapped Herculaneum scrolls. The improvements that Summer is making will aid the scholars who are studying these scrolls. Summer enjoys getting to challenge herself and learn new information through her project with the lab. Everyone on the team makes her feel very welcome, and she loves getting to work on a project that is so intriguing and impactful. Summer has always enjoyed research, and she hopes to pursue a career in which she can continue doing so through Computer Science.
